STE. ANNE'S SPA MINERVA LOYALTY PROGRAM
The original Minerva Loyalty Program was launched in January 2005 and will officially end on July 31st, 2009. This program was designed to reward customers for their loyalty and for referrals. For each visit to Ste. Anne's, or for each referral, guests would first receive a collection card, and subsequently stamps valued at $20. When 5 stamps were accumlated on a card, the completed card could be redeemed for $100 towards settlement of a Ste. Anne's invoice. The program was later expanded to include a $50 voucher issued on a guest's birthday, where the guest had given us their date of birth. The birthday voucher program ended on December 31st, 2008.
The Minerva Loyalty Program was one of the first of it's kind in the spa industry. The program was a paper based program that was not tracked online. As the program grew in popularity, the administration of the program became quite onerous and sometimes resulted in frustration for guests who lost their cards or vouchers.
Since the launch of the Minerva Loyalty Program in 2005, most major credit card companies have introduced loyalty rewards programs of their own. The cost of these premium credit card rewards programs have been passed on to merchants through higher merchant fees. As such, even though the Minerva Loyalty Program has been suspended, you will earn points with your credit card, which in many cases can be used to purchase travel and other rewards.
We are in the midst of replacing our old Minerva Loyalty Program with a new and improved one. We have been testing software for this purpose and are now in the final stages of the program development.
